Post news articles about information relevant to class discussions and receive credit!
After you have found and read an interesting and relevant article...
1) Click on your class on the left
2) Click on Discussions at the top
3) Click New Post
4) Type a headline of the article in the subject line. This can be your own headline or the article's.
5) First type your name, class (Spanish 1, Spanish 2, etc.), and period.
Example:
John Doe
Spanish 1
3rd period
6) Post the link to the article
7) Then write a 2 paragraph summary on the article.
In the first paragraph, summarize what happened. Make sure you include the basics. Covering who, what, when, where, and why is a good place to start.
In the second paragraph, you need to apply this article to class. Talk about why it relates to what we have discussed. Also tell us what you have learned, what you found most interesting in the article, and any other type of personal response you had upon reading the article.
You will be graded on the following rubric.
